Description
Dowsing is the art of handling a pendulum or a stick to discover what is hidden. It consists of feeling vibrations through a forked stick or an oscillating object hanging from a wire.
Initially it was used to find water, but it proved to be very efficient to discover deposits of precious metals and soon its technique became popular, and its use was extended to several areas.
The pendulum is an object suspended by a string, held by the index and thumb fingers and which, according to the interpretation of its oscillations, it is possible to obtain certain responses. Circular clockwise movements usually mean “YES” and counterclockwise movements “NO”.
