Description
The St. Cyprian cross has long been associated with protection against witchcraft, witchcraft, bad luck, the greed of others, envy, the evil eye, curses and all evils in general. This St. Cyprian cross is made of metal with a black background and has a small ring. It is accompanied by a wallet with the prayer to Saint Cyprian (in Portuguese). From a very early age, Cyprian, the son of wealthy pagan parents, was initiated into the arts of the occult, witchcraft and the rites of magic. His vast knowledge encompassed astrology, alchemy or divination, but he was only completely improved when he developed and intensified his studies with the illustrious Witch of Évora. In the face of such dedication, the latter left all of her manuscripts in spoil to Cyprian after his death, thus becoming a fearsome sorcerer.
But Cyprian gives up paganism and the occult and converts to Christianity. For despite using all his knowledge and all his powers, he fails to end the maidenly, devout and stoic Christian resistance of the maiden Justina when requesting the surrender of her virginity to her suitor. Cyprian fails to remove Justina from her faith and make her fall into temptation. Shortly after Cyprian is converted and later is martyred with Justina by order of Emperor Diocletian.
